Ktima Bisikli was created in 1975 as a traditional olive grove in the area of ​​Goukdia in the area of ​​Nea Kerdyllia, prefecture of Serres, with various olive varieties such as Halkidiki, Kalamon, Megaron, Volos, Thassos, Amfissa and Manaki. In 2004, an irrigation network was installed on the property and it was transferred to my wife Theologou Aikaterini, since she was certified by the <> center of Serres as a new farmer, at the same time soil analyzes were carried out resulting in a production increase of more than 50% in the first year and 70% the second one. In 2021, Theologou Aikaterini is certified by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food as a Professional Farmer and two years later she is granted a certificate of knowledge of the rational use of agricultural medicine by the same Ministry. Now it is fully equipped for all the cultivation operations such as tillage, fertilizing, watering, pruning, sprinkling and harvesting (with air machines). Last but not least, the sloped ground was formed in the shape of a staircase resulting in the retention of rainwater. As the business grows so does the family which all provide their valuable assistance to the family business.
