From these “unique olive trees” of Ntopia Zakinthou and Koroneiki varieties, and through the continuous study and development of our cultivation practices, as well as with absolute respect to the unique morphology of the place, BADOER olive oil is extracted, with its highly balanced flavor and important health properties due to the high content of polyphenols.

According to European Union Regulation 432/2012, the daily consumption of 20mg of olive oil (one tablespoon) with at least 5mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives contributes to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress (health claim).

The Kladis-Pantouveris family from the small mountainous village of Agalas, Zakynthos, has its roots back in Venice of the 16th century! The eminent Badoer family was enrolled in both Libro d’Oros (English: Golden Book, once the formal directory of nobles ) of the Republic of Venice and the Ionian Islands. The branch of the family in Zakynthos evolved over the centuries from Badoer to Vathoer, Pathouer, Pathouveris and eventually Pantouveris!
