Ranis

Ranis is an extra virgin olive oil, rich in polyphenols (>250mg/Kg) with health claim properties. PLACE OF ORIGIN Chalandritsa, Achaea. Situated in the foothills of Mount Erimanthos (Protected Area Natura 2000). VARIETY Unique, Rare, Authentic – A Greek ancient olive variety which has thrived for more than six centuries in our region, called “Patrinia” variety, commonly known as “koutsourelia”. HARVEST PERIOD First half of October. EXTRACTION TECHNIQUE First cold pressing - no filtering. HEALTH CLAIM PROPERTIES The daily consumption of 20gr of Ranis provides >5mg of hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol or their derivatives and consequently this olive oil belongs to the category of oils that protect the blood lipids from oxidative stress according to the regulation 432/2012 of the European Union. KI-RO ULTRA PREMIUM EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Extra virgin olive oil of low acidity from Messinia (Kalamata) of the Peloponnese with rich aromas. Moderately spicy, moderately fruity and moderately bitter taste rich of polyphenols. The olives are harvested by hand mainly by volume and with machines that do not injure the fruits and the trees so that the quality of the olive fruit is maintained to the maximum until it gives the olive oil.
